Rhenish Picture Archive - with state-of-the-art equipment

The photographers at the Historical Archive with the Rhenish Picture Archive of the City of Cologne has to solve many different photographic tasks professionally: In the new archive building, we were asked to install a ceiling rail plus background system, which was individually designed according to the customer’s demands and the exceptional height of the room. The cross beams are motorised and the lamps can be used over the entire height of the room thanks to motorised ceiling telescopes. All adjustments are operated via a dedicated radio remote control. This ceiling track system not only makes work more comfortable, but also safer and more efficient.

In our video, Mr. Michael Albers, Deputy Head of the Rhenish Picture Archive Department as well as Head of the associated “FotoMedienWerkstatt”, explains his requirements for the studio and shows its possibilities. We would like to thank him for the excellent cooperation and are happy about the result together with his team!
