The Restoration Centre of the Provincial Capital Düsseldorf / Henkel Donation, or “RED” for short, is specialised in the preservation and care of art and cultural heritage. The institute works on behalf of the museums, archives and exhibition houses of the regional capital Düsseldorf and beyond for museums in the area as well as private clients.

In close cooperation with Studio-Service Bacht, the experts there have conceptualised a highly professional wall easel system that makes the restorers’ work easier and more efficient. In combination with high-quality camera systems as well as optimal light sources, the perfect analysis, digitisation and restoration of even large and heavy objects is possible in a safe and gentle way.
